As a result of the generosity of the Western Australian public, 22 children's organisations around WA have one big reason to smile after receiving cash grants from last year's Telethon. Millions of dollars were handed over to fund a wide range of projects equipment and research, enabling each of the organisations to continue their vital work in the community.

The Telethon Weekend and telecast on Channel Seven is the culmination of fundraising throughout the year by people from all over WA and thanks to you, Telethon 2008 was another record-breaking year.
