The 2010 Telethon Weekend will kick off at 6.30pm Saturday November 13 and finish just after 8.30pm Sunday November 14.  

The 26 hour continuous broadcast will be on Channel 7 Network and on the Golden West Network throughout Western Australia.  Seven Network personalities from around Australia and leading Australian musicians and performers will make the trek to Perth for the weekend to appear on the show.  In 2010 we will be heading for the $100 million milestone that we have been aiming for since 1968.  At the end of Telethon 2009, we currently sit at $94 million!

The Weekend is a celebration of the dedication and commitment of thousands of Western Australians who support Telethon each year.

The Telethon Weekend event has grown to become the most significant television charity appeal in Australia; in fact, it is regarded as the most successful fundraising event per capita, in the world.

Telethon 2009 raised $6,374,775 which was distributed to over 20 beneficiaries.   To check out where the money went, click here.

Each year Telethon requires many volunteers to help out across the weekend in the Phone Room which is located at The Sunday Times in Stirling Street, Perth.
